Offered is an authentic hand-signed "A Big Victory" aviation print personally signed by Colonel Urban L. "Ben" Drew, one of the United States Army Air Forces' most accomplished fighter pilots of World War II.

This dramatic artwork was created by renowned aviation artist Stan Stokes and commemorates one of the most remarkable aerial victories of the war. The unframed print measures approximately 11.5" x 16" and has been hand signed by Urban Drew.

About Urban Drew

Colonel Urban Leonard "Ben" Drew (1924–2013) was one of the most celebrated fighter pilots of World War II and a member of the famed 361st Fighter Group of the United States Army Air Forces.

Flying the legendary North American P-51 Mustang, Drew flew combat missions over Europe escorting Allied bombers and engaging German aircraft during the final stages of the war. He achieved lasting fame on October 7, 1944, when he became one of the very few Allied pilots credited with destroying two German Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighters during a single combat mission.

At the time, the Me 262 was the world's first operational jet fighter and represented one of the most advanced aircraft of the war. Drew's remarkable achievement stood as one of the most significant victories scored against German jet aircraft and remains one of the most famous combat actions involving the P-51 Mustang.

Following the war, Drew continued his Air Force career and remained an important figure in military aviation history.
