About Harry Brown
Harry Brown was a United States Army Air Corps fighter pilot best known for his service during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Flying the rugged Curtiss P-36 Hawk, Brown was among the American pilots who managed to get airborne during the surprise Japanese attack, helping defend the Hawaiian Islands during one of the most significant days in American military history.
The actions of the P-36 Hawk pilots at Pearl Harbor represented some of the earliest aerial combat undertaken by American forces during World War II. Their courage and determination in the face of overwhelming odds helped establish a legacy that remains celebrated by aviation historians and military collectors.
Today, Harry Brown autographs remain highly sought after by collectors of Pearl Harbor memorabilia, P-36 Hawk collectibles, World War II aviation history, Army Air Corps artifacts, December 7, 1941 memorabilia, and military aviation autographs.
