Offered is an authentic hand-signed "Long Nose Trouble" aviation print personally signed by Gunther Rall, one of the most accomplished fighter pilots in aviation history.

This dramatic artwork was created by renowned aviation artist Stan Stokes and depicts Rall with the legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109, the aircraft with which he achieved the vast majority of his remarkable combat successes during World War II. The unframed print measures approximately 11.5" x 16" and has been hand signed by Gunther Rall.

About Gunther Rall

Generalleutnant Gunther Rall (1918-2009) was one of the greatest fighter pilots in military aviation history and the third-highest scoring fighter ace of all time. Flying primarily the legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109, Rall achieved an extraordinary 275 confirmed aerial victories during World War II, a total surpassed by only two pilots in history.

Throughout the war, Rall flew hundreds of combat missions and became renowned for his exceptional flying skill, leadership, and resilience. Despite being wounded and forced down multiple times, he repeatedly returned to combat and continued to add to his remarkable victory total.

Following World War II, Rall helped rebuild the postwar German Air Force and later served in senior NATO leadership positions during the Cold War. His military career spanned the piston-engine era, the jet age, and the emergence of modern military aviation.
