Offered is an authentic hand-signed "Working The Night Shift" aviation print personally signed by Guy P. Bordelon Jr., the United States Navy's only ace of the Korean War.

This dramatic artwork was created by renowned aviation artist Stan Stokes and commemorates the dangerous night interception missions flown by Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War. The unframed print measures approximately 11.5" x 16" and has been hand signed by Guy Bordelon.

About Guy Bordelon

Lieutenant Guy Pierre Bordelon Jr. (1922-2002) holds a unique place in American military aviation history as the United States Navy's only ace of the Korean War. Flying the radar-equipped Vought F4U-5N Corsair on dangerous nighttime interception missions, Bordelon achieved five confirmed aerial victories, all during night combat operations.

Assigned to VC-3 Detachment D, Bordelon was tasked with intercepting enemy aircraft that conducted nighttime harassment raids against United Nations forces. Operating under challenging conditions that required exceptional flying skill and courage, he successfully destroyed enemy aircraft while flying missions over some of the most dangerous areas of the Korean conflict.

His achievements made him not only the Navy's sole Korean War ace but also one of the few American aviators to earn ace status exclusively through night combat victories.
