Offered is an authentic hand-signed 8" x 10" photograph autographed by Charles W. Lindberg (1920-2007), United States Marine Corps veteran, Medal of Honor recipient, and participant in the first American flag raising on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima.
This photograph has been personally hand signed by Charles W. Lindberg and includes a PSA/DNA authentication sticker affixed directly to the photograph. About Charles W. Lindberg
Charles W. Lindberg (1920-2007) served with the United States Marine Corps during World War II and became one of the most notable participants in the historic Battle of Iwo Jima. On February 23, 1945, Lindberg took part in the first American flag raising atop Mount Suribachi, a pivotal moment in one of the Pacific Theater's most famous battles.
Lindberg later distinguished himself through extraordinary heroism during combat operations on Iwo Jima and was awarded the Medal of Honor, the United States military's highest decoration for valor. His service and sacrifice remain an enduring part of Marine Corps and World War II history.
